The Arizona Gay Rodeo will be held at the Corona Ranch and Rodeo Grounds-7811 S. 29th Ave-Laveen (Phoenix), Arizona.  The venue is located on the southeast corner of S. 29th Avenue and West Baseline Road.

 

 

On-site registration will be from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Friday – February 18, 2022 on the back patio at Corona Ranch and Rodeo GroundsLate registrations will be accepted for all events.   No late fees will be assessed.

Horse check in is at 8:00am on Friday, April 8, 2022.  If Thursday arrival is needed, please contact the Rodeo Director at rodeodirector@tgra.org

Stalls for horses will have priority over tack stalls.  There will be a $50 late fee for contestants who do not reserve an adequate number of hourse stalls in thier pre-registration entry.

 

 

Local Entries:

Late registration will be accepted with a $50.00 late fee for those contestants assigned an IGRA number more than 30 days prior to the rodeo. Late fees will not apply to pre-registered contestants adding camp events at registration. Late fees will not apply to an un-registered contestant adding camp events with a pre-registered partner(s) at registration. Please note: Rough Stock Riding Events cannot be added at registration!

To Reserve a camping or RV Spot, email the Rodeo Director at rodeodirector@tgra.org 

For Camping

Pets are only allowed in the camping area. They are not allowed anywhere else at the facility. If you are not with your pet, they must be kept closed up.

RV Rentals

RV Rentals

If you would like to rent a camper for the weekend, please feel free to contact one of the RV Rentals listed below.  You can see their many rentals online and will book directly with them to schedule delivery & pickup.  Most of them come with everything you need for the weekend (sheets, towels, kitchenware, etc.) but check with them to be sure if you need to bring anything.

You MUST still reserve an RV Spot which will be paid directly to the Fairgrounds upon arrival.  Hook-ups (Electricity & Water Only) are $35.00 per night.  Please email Rodeo Director Steve Back at rodeodirector@tgra.org and provide your RV rental information (Rental Company, Delivery & Pickup Date).

RITR will be held at the Arkansas State Fairgrounds Equestrian center located at 2401 W. Roosevelt Rd, Little Rock, AR  72205.

On-site registration will be from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Friday – April 22, 2022 in the Arkansas Building at the Arkansas State Fairgrounds.  

Late registration will be accepted for all events and a late fee of $30.00 will be assessed. Pre-registered contestants adding events will be accepted and a late fee of $10.00 per event will be assessed. EXCEPTION: Late fees will not apply to a new contestant adding camp events with pre-registered partner(s) at on-site registration. Late entry fees and additional event late fees apply only to contestants who have been assigned a four (4) digit IGRA contestant number greater than 30 days from registration date. Per Rule VII, 2, f & g.

HORSE STALL INFORMATION

All horses will use Horse Barn #1.

Enter fairgrounds Gate 11 from Schiller Street (Off of Roosevelt St.).

Early check-ins begin at 1pm Thursday, April 21st

All horses must be out by 10am, Monday, April 25th

The first horse stall is FREE but you must reserve it. Each additional stall is $25.

Stalls for horses not used in competition will cost $30.00 each.

A late fee of $30 will be assessed, per horse stall, to contestants who did not reserve the adequate number of horse stalls on their entry form or who did not pre-register for the rodeo.

Tack stalls are $30 each for the entire weekend.

You may bring your own shavings. If bought at the Fairgrounds, cost is $7 per bag.

Rooms are $89.00 per night plus tax

Cut off for group reservations is April 4, 2019.


Camping

RV spaces are available at the Arkansas State Fairgrounds - Use Gate 11 (Schiller St.).

RV Hookups are available per night on a first come, first serve basis.

No reservations are required - THERE ARE PLENTY!.

Note: All sites have been upgraded to full hookups, Electric, Water, and Sewer. 

Full hookup with 30 amp or 50 amp is $45 per night.

RV and Trailer Camping payment will be collected by Fairground Security personnel.

Personal checks will not be accepted. Most credit cards accepted, except for American Express.

Empty trailers will be parked in the field across from RV camping.

Horse contestants are provided one (1) stall at no cost. Contestants reserving additional stalls will be required to pay stall fees of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) per additional stall for the rodeo weekend. Tack Stalls are not available.  Stalls are not guaranteed for contestants who do not make reservations prior to the contestant online pre-registration cutoff date (Friday, April 22nd).  Late entries and those contestants not reserving an adequate number of stalls will be charged a fifty dollar ($50.00) late fee.  New contestants (those not assigned an IGRA contestant number prior to April 01, 2022) will not be charged a late stall fee for the first stall. All horses must be off the rodeo grounds by 11:00 am on Monday, May 9, 2022.It is the responsibility of contestants to know the state laws and rules regarding Health Certificates and Coggins tests for each state that will be traveled.  For additional information, see the website www.aphis.usda.gov/wps/portal/aphis/ourfocus/importexport (U.S.) and www.inspection.gc.ca (Canada).

Late Registration & Late Fee Policy:

 

Late registrations will be accepted.  Late Fee Policy is in effect.

Contestants who register after the preregistration period has expired shall be assessed a late fee of $50.

 

A late fee of $50 shall be assessed to all preregistered contestants adding rough stock events after the preregistration period has expired.

This fee applies only to contestants who have been assigned a four (4) digit IGRA contestant number more than thirty (30) days prior to registration date.

The one free horse stall only applies for 3 Days (Friday through Monday Morning or Thursday through Sunday) of the rodeo weekend.

 

Any additional Stall Fees are noted as below

$25 per additional horse stall for the weekend (3 Days)

$25 per tack stall for the weekend (3 Days)

 

$25 per day per stall for any days over 3 days.

 

Contestants requiring more than three stalls will be charged $25/Day/Stall

$50 late fee for contestants requiring stalls who did not pre-register

AWARDS PRESENTATIONS

The awards ceremony will be held at Arapahoe County Fairgrounds on Sunday evening starting at 8 PM

REGISTRATION

All contestants with an assigned IGRA number must complete and pay for online registration with a date-time stamp by 10:00 pm Mountain Time no less than fifteen (15) days prior to the rodeo’s first performance to compete.  

New contestants may contact the IGRA Office to obtain an IGRA number a minimum of thirty (30) days prior to the rodeo and complete online registration. Click HERE for the IGRA Website. 

On-site registration will be from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Friday – July 1st at the rodeo grounds. A complimentary dinner will be served for all contestants, officials and volunteers.

If you will be unable to get to registration or will be late, you must call the Rodeo Secretary (Michael Norman 972-658-3228).

LATE REGISTRATIONS

Late registration will be accepted with a $50.00 fee.

Roughstock riding event contestants must pre-register.

A pre-registered contestant can add a non-roughstock riding event at registration without a late registration fee.

NEW CONTESTANT MEETING

All new (first-time) contestants must attend a New Contestants Meeting at 10:30 am Saturday – July 2nd. The meeting will be in the northeast section of the bleachers in the arena area. All new (first-time) contestants must attend, or they will be disqualified from the rodeo competition.

STALLS

Contestants using a horse in the competition will be provided with one (1) stall at no charge. Additional stalls are $25.00 each for the weekend.  

Per 2020 IGRA Rodeo Rules I – Section 8, contestants must:

Reserve the appropriate number of horse stalls

Prepay for all additional horse stalls with pre-registration

Stall fees for additional horse stalls are non-refundable

Stall fees for additional horse stalls are non-transferrable

All Stalls are uncovered and some may be 10x10 panel fencing. Tack stalls are not available.

 


SHAVINGS

 

Shavings may be purchased from the Barn Manager.

ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE TIMES

Horse check-in will begin at 9 am Friday – July 1st. Earlier arrivals may check-in after 12pm on Thursday, however, an additional charge may be required.   Horses, trailers, and equipment must be off the rodeo grounds by 11AM Monday – July 4th.

TRAILER/RV PARKING

Limited Trailers with living quarters and RV spots are available for $20 per night. Please see our store to reserve your RV spot. 30 and 50 Amp hookups are available. There are no water or sewer hookups. Water is available to fill tanks.  WiFi available.  The Barn Manager will direct you to a parking spot and will be your point of contact for the weekend regarding Trailer and RV parking.
